One Wilshire is one of the world's most interconnected facilities. Hundreds of networks converge at the corner of Wilshire and Grand in downtown Los Angeles, bringing together networks from nations around the globe. Over the past decade, the 656,000 square-foot building has emerged as the premier communications hub of the Pacific Rim.
One Wilshire has been a landmark in the Los Angeles skyline since its construction in 1966. Since the deregulation of telecommunications in the United States, One Wilshire has been at the forefront of communications. The facility now boasts hundreds of different networks, service providers, and enterprises, with more than 260 with CRG West alone.
The building offers diverse fiber points of entry, excellent rooftop line-of-site opportunities and an on-site technician staff. One Wilshire is an ideal location for global carriers, wireless service providers, and content delivery networks. From One Wilshire, CRG West offers a robust list of tenants directly at the facility, the opportunity to connect to the Any2 Exchange, and the ability to connect to other CRG West customers at Market Post Tower, Wilshire Annex or the Valley Exchange.
The Network
Let's not advertise and promote our "Cisco 4948 core routers connected to dual-homed paths with gigabit uplinks to our upstream providers" just like other low end game server providers usually do to skew your opinion of their network.
What difference does it make if your GSP is not able to control how data travels to your internet provider? As of October 6th 2007, Vivid-Hosting will be the ONLY company with the ability to re-route customers INDEPENDANTLY!
We are not dependent on providers to make routing changes! If you have problems with a connection, let us know and we'll change the routing to the best possible route we can offer!
Are you unable to find a GSP with Los Angeles servers with the ability to re-route? We know. We're the only GSP in Los Angeles with this ability.
We run our own BGP (Border Gateway Protocol out of AS7830)
Vivid-Hosting's diverse network allows for better routing and peering which gives the user better connectivity.
At the moment, we have transit lines with Abovenet, BTN Access, Limelight Networks, Global Crossing, Savvis, and Level3.
We are directly peered with the following providers: Mzima, Sudjam LLC, and Multacom Networks.
Why peer with so many different companies?
Well the answer is obvious! The more paths to reach a customer, the better chance we are able to lower your latency.
